Acknowledgement

NSWMSC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands and elders, past and present of New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and other lands within the Commonwealth of Australia. It is on traditional lands on which NSW and ACT medical schools are built and on which teaching, learning and research practices occur. As representatives for NSW and ACT medical students, the Council’s position is that all indigenous people, as with all other people, should be treated with respect in the course of students’ and practitioners’ education and vocations.

Constitution

The NSWMSC Constitution provides the organisational framework within which the Executive and Council operate.
It guides all activity of NSWMSC, including:

Our vision, and mission statement;
Elections and how they are run;
Yearly aims of events and advocacy; and,
Legal parameters of our work.
