Are you the next Gawande, Kalanithi, Ofri or Sacks?
NSWMSC is now advertising for submissions for its annual publication, RUBIX! RUBIX will be published online and in print. Hard-copy editions will be distributed throughout medical schools and clinical schools/teaching hospitals across NSW.
NSWMSC is looking for reflective or thoughtful pieces of opinion, poetry and other creativity (e.g., shorts) that are topical and insightful for NSW medical students. Possible topics include new medical schools in Australia, student mental health and solutions to health and global health inequities. Any work is possible but the only requirement is that pieces shed light on life through the eyes of a medical — or even nursing, allied health or health science — student in NSW (e.g., being a medical student in NSW).
