Role within NSW MSC: Committed to establishing the Council as the peak representative body for medical students in New South Wales and advocating for the outcomes students deserve.
What you hope to achieve within NSW MSC 2014: In addition to advocacy, the work will focus on engaging with medical students across the state and fostering the development of a stronger NSW medical student community.
What you are passionate about/your hobbies & interests: Flying helicopters over Sydney, leading expeditions to far flung destinations and striving to make the world's best dessert.

Role within NSW MSC: To coordinate correspondence to and from the MSC and to document minutes from all council meetings
What you hope to achieve within NSW MSC 2014: To actively engage with the medical societies and create more opportunities to collaborate and network with students from different med schools
What you are passionate about/your hobbies & interests: Favourite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings

Relevant leadership positions/experience: Been involved in the UNSW Medical Society for three years, last year on the Executive as Event’s Director.
Role within NSW MSC: To manage the monetary matters of the organisation and ensure financial efficiency.
What you hope to achieve within NSW MSC 2014: To keep NSW MSC as cost-effective as possible so we have the best opportunity to deliver fantastic events and productively advocate for the medical students of New South Wales.
What you are passionate about/your hobbies & interests: I have to say I look forward to my weekly Indoor Soccer match the most!

Role within NSW MSC: Liaise with sponsors to enable NSW MSC to achieve its goals of successfully advocating on behalf of its members while promoting social and educational cohesiveness between the medical schools of New South Wales & connect the members of NSW MSC with the resources our sponsors offer.
What you hope to achieve within NSW MSC 2014: To foster long term relationships with our existing sponsors as well as starting new connections with other organisations who could benefit our members.
What you are passionate about/your hobbies & interests: Setting new limits, scuba and sky diving!

What you hope to achieve within NSW MSC 2014: To more broadly engage the medical students of New South Wales to develop networking opportunities and contacts to help harness more future peer support.
What you are passionate about/your hobbies & interests: Music, travel, medicine and family/friends. Never 'pursuing' happiness.
Public Relations Officer - Ming Yong ([email protected])

Relevant leadership positions/experience: Publicity and publications: UNMS Publications Officer 2013-2014, GHC2014 Publications Officer, Publications Assistant on IFMSA in 2014, AMSA Pitch Your Project Competition Project Coordinator in 2013. In advocacy: UNMS International Officer and AMSA International Student Network Councillor in 2012.
Role within NSW MSC: Managing the public image and publications of NSW MSC, giving a hand to the President in liaising with external stakeholders and managing our public relations, and working with the Events Coordinator in organising our events' promotions.
What you hope to achieve within NSW MSC 2014: Apart from rebranding the MSC, I want to see MSC established as an important advocacy figure and medical student body in NSW.
What you are passionate about/your hobbies & interests: Among a long list of things, I am passionate about maintaining my creative outlets, the correct use of comic sans, and good design.

President (2014), Vice President & NSW MSC Representative (2013), Sponsorship Officer (2012).
New South Wales Medical Students' Council: Sponsorship Officer & Council member (2013)
Role within NSW MSC: Responsible for overseeing the NSW MSC website and social media pages, managing our expanding membership database, oversee Executive's and Council's email accounts and website traffic flow, ensure content posted online is relevant, accurate and current.
What you hope to achieve within NSW MSC 2014: Brand new website (it is finally here!) with improved SEO, increased student engagement via the NSW MSC University Representatives, an active voice on the NSW MSC Executive Committee in representing and advocating for our 4,500 members.
