Acknowledgement

NSWMSC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands and elders, past and present of New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and other lands within the Commonwealth of Australia. It is on traditional lands on which NSW and ACT medical schools are built and on which teaching, learning and research practices occur. As representatives for NSW and ACT medical students, the Council’s position is that all indigenous people, as with all other people, should be treated with respect in the course of students’ and practitioners’ education and vocations.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL CHALLENGE 2026

On 20 June 2026, medical students from across NSW and the ACT came together for one of NSWMSC’s most exciting events of the year!

The Emergency Medical Challenge gave students the opportunity to test their clinical knowledge, communication and teamwork through fast-paced emergency simulations and practical challenges.

With 72 students competing, the day was an incredible success and showcased the skill, enthusiasm and collaboration of medical students across the region.
