Our Mission

The NSW MSC exists to:
•    To represent the views of all medical students in NSW.
•    Promote the co-operation of all medical schools in NSW to maintain optimal medical education.
•    Promote and address issues pertinent to NSW medical students.
•    Protect the well-being of medical students in NSW.

The NSW MSC will achieve these aims by:
•    Fostering and sustaining co-operation and communication among the medical schools in NSW.
•    Acting as a lobbying group for medical students to the NSW government and NSW-specific bodies.
•    Fostering unity among medical students by providing a forum for their opinions.
•    Fostering communication between the medical students and the community.

  • National registration a reality as WA signs up
    Australia will finally have a national medical registration system next month as WA joins the other states and territories in the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme, the Medical Board of Australia has announced.
