Following ongoing consultations with key stakeholders, NSWMSC is pleased to announce the launch of the 2015 Internship Forum.

The Internship Forum is designed to connect graduating medical students who are interested in swapping the location of their internship for 2015.

The rules for swapping internships have recently been outlined by HETI and can be found here: http://www.heti.nsw.gov.au/programs/m/faq/

Dear members and students,

Following consultation today and per HETI's request, we must inform you that NSWMSC will not be facilitating an internship swap database this year. 

We have asked HETI to provide us with written information for students who are looking to swap their internship with someone at another hospital and we will post the information here when we have it.

We sincerely apologise for any confusion or inconvenience this may cause.

HETI does not organise hospital swaps. Last year, HETI agreed to allow swaps provided that both students and hospitals are happy with the exchange. This saw the creation of the first NSWMSC Internship Swap Database, with over 150 listings.

In 2014, we are awaiting HETI's confirmation that they will be happy to support the swapping process once again.
